When you travel the world in quest of knowledge, you return home with the real you- a vast sea of passion, awareness and cognition.
The Directors of Sherringwood hold degrees from the best universities abroad-University of Melbourne, Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland and University of Westminster. Being the Alumni of such prestigious academies, they have laid the foundation of the school with a cosmopolitan approach. The curriculum and the co-curricular are all-embracing and updated periodically.
We are active members of International Reading Association which aims at creating able minds that can READ, WRITE and COMMUNICATE, National Association for the Education of Young Children which promotes high-quality learning by connecting practice, policy, and research and The Association of British Scholars which is a national forum to facilitate the networking of Indians who have studied or trained in the UK, among others.
Networking, sharing information and hosting social, cultural and intellectual activities is our forte.
- We invite acclaimed speakers to train our students and teachers periodically. The team of National Geographic Kids visited our campus. They conducted interactive sessions with our team which included presentations and appealing ideas for younger children. The best of these have been inculcated in the curriculum.
- Trinity College, London’s graded Music exams offer the choice and flexibility to allow candidates to play to their strengths. To promote the universal language of music, we trained our students for this esteemed examination, and they came out with flying colors.
Young Sherringites who were awarded with certificates from Trinity College, London in Drumming:

International Cultural Convention is held each year at the school. In 2017, 40 mentors from 16 different countries (USA, Germany, Australia, China, Columbia, Egypt, South Korea and Brazil among others) visited our school to teach young Sherringites about their part of the world. ICC curtains with Global Village where you can witness amalgamation of world culture, food, tradition and education, all under Sherringwood’s roof.
Long term mentors from foreign countries are also a part of the school’s curriculum:
– Lucia Foliaco from Columbia and Milena Chantraine from Belgium stayed with us as mentors for half a year. During their tenure, they actively took lectures, conducted workshops for students, and interacted with parents. They merged in the school events, therefore adding a broader dimension in the personality of our teachers.
Carrying such far-sighted and forthright vision makes Sherringwood a school par excellence.
